Seven Fathoms Dive Centre is based in the busy resort of cala n forcat. Within close distance of the dive centre are the three beaches and several glorious coves offering easy access to the calm blue Mediterranean Sea. Also within close range are several supermarkets and all the shops selling a full range of menorquin goods and fabulous restaurants with menus full of Mediterranean delights to tempt the taste buds. There are also several play areas for the kid’s open day and night and a water park open daily, which has several different pools and slides. Just two kilometres up the road we have the old capitol of the island - Ciutadella., the second largest town on the island after the capital of Mahon. The main square of ciutadella la plaza des born is home to the town hall and hosts the local market most mornings. Running of the square to the east is the main shopping centre that runs through Ses Voltes. The cross streets are wide and picturesque filled with palaces, converts and temples. This street also runs past the Catalan Gothic cathedral. Down below the main square you have the port of ciutadella. There is a large amount of commercial, tourist and fishing activity. It is comprised of many restaurants offering lots of local delicacies and fresh seafood. At the mouth of the port there can be found a defensive tower and from here, beautiful sunsets can be seen with the mountains of the island of Mallorca our closest neighbour, as a backdrop. Ciutadella offers a large variety of things to do and is only five minutes in a car from Cala n Blanes.
