The Reiki Universal Healing Web Ring web site was founded to provide information for people who are interested to receive Reiki treatments and/or Reiki courses. The guidelines on this web site are supported by all the member web sites, and this can help those who wish to contact a Reiki practitioner and/or teacher in finding a qualified Reiki professional. People interested in Reiki courses might also want to have a look at some Tips for Beginners.
There is no fee for Reiki practitioners and teachers who would like to support the Reiki Universal Healing Principles and Ethics. Simply click on the Join! link and fill out the form. We will then review your web site and contact you as soon as possible.

The members who support the Reiki Universal Healing Principles and Ethics:
-
Treat their clients/students with the utmost respect and provide a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.
-
Respect the vow of confidentiality regarding the information that the client/student provides during a Reiki session/course.
-
Explain the client/student what the Reiki session/course will be like.
-
Explain in brief the hand positions that will be performed and ask approval of the client for all positions. Do not ask the client/student to remove clothing to perform a Reiki treatment (unless in the context of a licensed massage therapy session) or course. Always respect private body parts of the client/student, and perform healing at greater distance if desired by the client/student.
-
Respect all other thoughts, views and paths, including other Reiki systems.
-
Inform the client/student about the way Reiki assists in the healing process and do not make claims about results for the Reiki treatment/course.
-
Make it clear to the client/student that Reiki is not intended to replace the advice of physicians or health care practitioners. It is also not intended to diagnose or prescribe treatment for any illness or disorder. Anyone already undergoing physician-prescribed therapy should seek the advice of his or her doctor before reducing the dosage or stopping such treatment.
-
Work actively on their own healing, to be able to assist in the healing of others.
