Finally stopped procrastinating, and got this up for showing off like everybody else. A rough first try. More to come, maybe including contributions from my mother :-)

IMPORTANT:

• Maintenance of this site is been discontinued. I'm carrying on at http://web.unbc.ca/~garcia. Some people may still get faster file downloads from here, though.
• Due to space limitations a few large files are missing. They can be obtained from the new site.
• PostScript files are also omitted when there is a PDF version available. They are probably redundant now with the improved PDF conversion in ghostscript anyway.

Forest researcher and sometimes itinerant professor. Currently looking at forest planning for the Xunta de Galicia (the autonomous government of the Galicia Region), hired through the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, and stationed at the Xunta's

My main interests might be labeled "quantitative forestry". Most anything combining Forestry and Mathematics. Much of my past work has been in growth modelling and in forest planning systems.

Here is a list of publications. A few are available for downloading or viewing on line. I hope to gradually add to these as time and copyright laws permit.

I will be placing unpublished/unpublishable items and other bits and pieces here.
