his is a research Web site. It's obvious that the compositions by these four artists are complex, for which reason it's very difficult to obtain an accurate transcription even for a person with a good ear and musical knowledge. That is why Gibb Chords will be continuosly updated, trying to improve the quality of the transcriptions with each new update. To make easier the tracking of the said updates, I have added a version number to every song.T
he easiest way to listen to the chords is by using ChordPro Manager, but with this program some complex chords can be wrongly played (with the root note changed), especially if you use the guitar as instrument instead of the piano. The only method that won't fail is to use a real instrument (guitar or piano). I have the feeling that the guitar is almost impossible for the performance of certain chord sequences. So then, we can take the piano (or electronic organ) as the most suitable choice.Next are presented the songs in chordpro format (CPM). In order to taking full advantage from the CPM format you'll need to have the program ChordPro Manager installed, which is available in this site. Once you have installed this program (unzip the file, run the Setup.exe program and then run the regme.reg program), you should replace the file chords.dat by the following almost exhaustive chord list. You'll need it in order to be able to listen to the chords on your computer. I also suggest you to replace the Default.cpm file to have the same preferences I used to write the pages. If you are looking for easy chords, then rest assured that this isn't your page. You can check that I search for up to the subtlest nuance in every song, even to the extent of verging inappropiateness in some cases. Of course, I would be very grateful if you send me your suggestions, corrections and comments.
