for Wolfgang Kramer's award-winning strategy game

Die Fürsten von Florenz /
The Princes of Florence

This game is as close to perfection as any other out there. The one thing some gamers have found missing in its excellent material design are screens for the players for hiding their wealth (or poverty, as the case may be) from their princely rivals.

So how do you have to cut the graphic below, once printed onto an A4 sheet of white cardboard, in order to obtain five screens, which you can then each fold twice in such a way that they don't fall over?

I'm afraid the question was purely rhetorical - I'm sure you can work it out!

And incidentally, if you don't know this wonderful game yet and want to check it out, I recommend you read a few reviews (English or German) in the  Luding Database.
They're bound to convince you that this gem of a game needs to be added to your collection urgently!

For more Florentine artwork, visit the virtual Uffizi, which is where I found all the pictures above (well, with the exception of one face - which one could that be, and who on earth is the guy anyway? - Tip: You can find out on my page on Robert Abbott's Eleusis, where he's one of the 192 VIPs depicted on the cards!)

Don't cut the sheet vertically!
