CADET INSTALLATION

You may find these installation instructions in the file "README.TXT" included in  CADET.ZIP , but if you are going to print them, better you do it from this page. They will be formatted in a more pleasant way.

CADET INSTALLATION (V1.1 AND LATER)

It is recommended to have at least 2MB of free disk space. Once installed, CADET and the auxiliary files take some 663KB of disk space, not including the image files that you may add.

1.- It is recommended to first uninstall previous CADET versions. However, this is not strictly necessary. To uninstall CADET see the appropriate section in this document.

2.- Copy the file CADET.ZIP in the directory (or folder, as it is now called) of your choice. Use of a temporary directory is recommended.

3.- Expand the file CADET.ZIP using PKUNZIP or any equivalent utility.

4.- Execute the program SETUP.EXE generated during CADET.ZIP expansion and follow the instructions in the screen.

5.- Optionally you can erase CADET.ZIP and all the files generated when it was expanded, providing that they are in a different directory than the one selected for final CADET installation (otherwise you will erase files necessary for proper CADET work).

You have installed CADET. I hope it will be useful for you.
