GEOGRAPHIC SITUATION
| The municipality of Agolada is placed in the geographical center of Autonomous Community, in the Northeast of the province of Pontevedra, between the Ulla river, Farelo's mountain range, and the Arnego river. |

The municipality is 147,820 square Kilometers
with a great morphological variety in its lands. This variety is due more to
tecthonic factors that to the lithologic ones. The masterlines are configurated
by three elements: - Farelo mountain range. - Soft ondulations of high surfaces of erosion. - Ulla river and its tributary, Arnego river. |

The main units of relief are organized in a general direction NW-SE. These direction lines are crossed by the tributary rivers of Ulla river (Deza and Arnego). | |
| The river system is organized around of two main courses, Ulla and Arnego. The Ulla river, that acts as the municipality north border, has a general direction E-W. Several rivers discharge their waters on it; between their, the main is the Arnego river, which, across the municipality make a straigth valley with strong slopes, in direction NW-SE to discharge in Ulla river in Brocos, that make the begining of Portodemouros reservoir. |

Cimate in Agolada, is oceanic type, modified
by the indoor situation, that has relatively soft temperatures in winter, mainteining
a standard temperature in the coldest month upper to 6 ºC, and fresh summers in
that rarely the temperature is upper 17ºC as standard. Heigth and direction
about normal atmospheric actions determinate this climatology. |
