He was born in Madrid. After achieving a distinction in piano studies at "Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Majadahonda" in Madrid he went to London in 1996 to continue his music studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the supervision of Peter Bithell as his piano professor. He also undertook compositional studies, harpsichord, and conducting. Since then he has continued his musical education with the financial help of the European Union through the Corporation of London, Comunidad de Madrid, and Becas AIE.

He has obtained prizes at the IX National Piano competition 1996 (1st prize), I Competition for Young pianists Nuestra Señora del Rosario 1994 (2nd prize), IV Competition for Young Pianists de Alcalá de Henares 1992 (2nd prize).

He has taken part in classes given by distinguished pianists such as Andreu Riera, Rosa María Kucharski, James Gibb, Jose María Colom, Alicia de Larrocha, Leon Fleisher, Miguel Ituarte, Almudena Cano, Emilio Molina, Alexander Mazdar, Paul Roberts.

Recently, he has participated as a soloist in the VII Spanish Cultural Week in Palestine, organised by the Consulate General of Spain in Jerusalem and the Spanish Cooperation Office.

At present he is Professor of Piano at "Conservatorio Profesional Joaquín Turina" in Madrid, and at the same time he continues his performance career within the musical atmosphere of the city of London, a destination where he travels regularly.
