Doctor Eugenio Herrero was a specialist in Psychiatry and Neurology and, among other qualifications and responsibilities, had a diploma in Medical Sophrology, was a founder-member of both the Instituto de Estudios Psicosomáticos y Psicoterapia Médica (Institute for Psychosomatic Studies and Medical Psychotherapy) and the Asociación Internacional de Terapias Holísticas Tradicionales (International Association of Tradicional Holistic Therapies).

                       Since 1971 he held courses on relaxation for doctors, psychologists and patients at the Hospital Provincial in Madrid. Since 1981 he directed theoretico-practical seminars on relaxation and hypnosis techniques as well as relaxation-therapy groups at the Hospital Central de la Cruz Roja (Red Cross Central Hospital) in Madrid.

The book --Curso de Entrenamiento en Relajación Creativa (Creative Relaxation Training Course)-- is the transcription of the relaxation courses which Dr Eugenio Lozano imparted until his death. At present, these courses are given by his brother Julio, a specialist in Psychiatry as well, in Madrid, at the Escuela Granada, (street) C/Jardines de San Federico, 5, Telephone 91 40 15 968.

(Creative Awareness. The Wisdom of Emotions). Besides, he is the author of the book  La Llave Olvidada (The Forgotten Key).
