Tuan, my Doorkeeper (AKA guardian angel) taught me early on that in Spirit, as here on earth, multitudinous entities (people) are ready, willing and able to assist us in any and all undertakings. It may be a simple do-it-yourself (DIY) job or something profoundly philosophical.
Grateful, in knowing and using this knowledge many times before, I asked Tuan to find me a spirit artist, a 'floating helper' (explained in Spirit And Me ). Further, ever aware that such appeals depend more upon trust than faith, as on so many other occasions, I simply trusted that he would eventually find one to work with me.
About four days later I was in my kitchen making my toast and morning coffee. Suddenly I heard, clairaudiently, an American man's voice telling me that he was there to help me to paint! Protestations about breakfast, being in pyjamas, showering and so on went unheard. (It is important and especially more so when a 'floating helper' drops by to help, one should acknowledge both the person and the fact that their time too is limited. After all, for them to hold our vibration is often very difficult and it involves far more than any inconvenience we may have or feel.)
Accordingly, I gave myself
over to this. From that moment I was told, step by step what to do. In no
time at all the outline in pencil was completed to his satisfaction. "Now
we are going to paint" he said and I had visions of donning the beret
and smock and of holding a palette and paintbrushes. But he knew better and
laughingly went on that there was no way that I would manage oil paints; he
said to use Emulsion paints. (With emulsion paint not so readily available
today, I used instead, Acrylic ones.)
Eventually finished and checking the time, to my utter astonishment I found
that in less than three hours since first hearing his voice it was finished.
I asked him if he would tell me his name and he said: "Will Gaines" and as I started to ask he continued: "In the body I was a scenic painter in the movie business in the USA and I also painted in my spare time."
In my knowing, and not simply believing that such contacts are 'available to us all, as on many previous occasions, my trust in Spirit responded accordingly, that is, when I needed it. I thank Will almost every time that I gaze at the painting and many an artist has seen it and been very impressed. (I would know if they were not simply by checking their aura!) So Will, may your God always go with you, wherever that may lead as you continue on your Spiritual Quest.
Incidentally,
I own a book that came to me as an apport many years ago. Published in 1887
it is of course well over 100 years old. Within its faded and aged pages is
a black and white illustration of the wheel.
As one would expect, in those days unfortunately, they did not have the techniques
as are about today. Therefore it is almost totally lacking in detail and only
measures just 3cms. X 1cm. On the other hand the painting we did together
measures 1 metre 7cms. X 49cms…
