Saved from the crusher and safe at home.
Her first American Car Meeting.
On the Bodyshop.
Near original new Red skin, after
30 days of sanding, sanding, sanding, sanding, .......

This is my little AMX,a car made by American Motors, the
last independent auto maker in the U.S.A.
She was black when I first saw her,and I fell in love
with the power delivered by her compact V-8 engine, combined with a handling
very unusual with any american-made car. Only Corvettes are better-
handling cars.
After a full body restoration, now she is painted in Porsche
Red,and I´m considering to apply the White Go Pack Stripes, or to
go to the Red,White,
and Blue Racing treatment. Any comments?.
The car was stripped to bare metal and painted by myself in a local bodyshop.
The 343 Engine has been redone with .030" TRW Pistons,
a Competition Cams Bumpstick, Hedman Headers, and an Edelbrock Torker intake
manifold. Actual compression is 11,2:1, and the heads have been fully ported
and manifold-matched.
Everything has been blueprinted and carefully assembled
by myself and my friend
Carmelo, a very good BMW mechanic and better friend.
She has a B&W T-10 Gearbox and a 3,54:1 Twin Grip
Rearend.
I´m in love with my car !!!!.
She is the one and only ´69 AMX in Spain, and very
few were sold in Europe, so it´s a very rare and desirable piece
of machinery, and a VERY FAST machine.
