FOLK

At this time, the summit of the music folk in Asturias (North of Spain, a celtic country) is evident, such as demonstrates it the success of the bagpipe artist Hevia, as well as the quantity of groups that they are publishing disks (Tejedor, Llan de Cubel, Lliberdón, ...) increasingly widespread, even at domestic level; parallel to the summit of these groups, it has been produced an increase in the number of Bagpipe Bands all over Asturias, those which have been launched also to the publication in disk of their projects; with the Bands Bagpipe Cántara, I have collaborated recently, through the composition of a topic title "The Moon of Sildala" for their last disk title " Clouds Sea", the one which to find also in the compositions page.

Concerning the diffusion of topics of music folk through Internet, and after many search hours by the Net, I have not found practically any topic of groups of folk Asturian (and hardly national); the lion's share of the topics that are found are of the folk Irish, Scottish, English, etc. Of the many topics that I have found, here I present you in MIDI format a selection of those that most encase with my pleasures, more assorted and better arrangements have, and in the Links page some links to music pages folk.
